We have made bears for HM Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee celebrations; HM The Queen Mother’s 80th Birthday; for Bill Clinton and Al Gore using bespoke ‘Inauguration silk’.
Working with the Disney Corporation, Canterbury Bears has attended the Doll & Bear convention at the Epcot centre in Florida for more than 20 years. Creating beautiful edition pieces of Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, Piglet, Kanga and Roo. With Micky and Minnie Mouse in soft leather and silk, alongside other much loved Disney characters.
For Cath Kidston we created her much loved, and now iconic, dog Stanley. In addition to a fully jointed dog, we also made a larger version on wheels, with his own wooden basket.
Our ongoing work with the Firmdale Hotel Group is an exciting project upcycling fabric from soft furnishings used in their hotel bedrooms. These gorgeous collectable animals are completely unique.
We are currently working on a wide range of projects with Huntsman Savile Row, Harrods, Liberty’s, Evie & Skye, Joshua Kane and Murva Bou, amongst others.

Our Peruvian friend has been a childhood favourite since Michael Bond first published his book in 1958, and even more so with the hugely successful Paddington films released in 2014 & 2017.

Canterbury Bears support a number of charities, making annual toy donations to Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital; supporting Save the Children, The Teddington Trust and The Breakaway Foundation. We make ‘A Bear Named Buttony’ to support and raise funds for a charity for children with stomas.
In response to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Canterbury Bears created the ‘Thank You Bear‘ with all profits donated to NHS Charities Together.
In 2021 we will be creating bears from the jeans of celebrities for ‘The Great Bear Project’ working beside
Eazl CIC to raise funds for a number of children’s cancer charities.
